240W charger depicted in real photos, revealing details

Note that the 12A is only in 200-240V areas, in 100-130V it is 8A

So 160W in the US.

Also note the 2.8A input power, unless that’s just peak, it becomes a regular toaster in 240V areas with 672W in and 240W out…

O

haha 240w with only one output ,, ooo ppoooo in shot

rizki1, 2 hours agoI’ve been using Miui since 2017 from a cheap Xiaomi phone, nothing bad that made me switch… moreBoss, you haven’t tasted the android ui taste, that’s why you say miui is good. You are used to miui bugs and lags. High skin on android. Waste . Next phone you change to pixel, nothing phone, moto etc. Then you will understand the smoothness is evident in android world. And you won’t go back to miui crap.

808Droid, 2 hours agoIndeed, the Chinese spend time and resources on gimmicks rather than improving their software. MiU… moreEven when Chinese OEMs improve their software and release models, people don’t complain about lag

People are just going to wait for 1 model to have a problem and then say “Look! They’re not improving anything software wise”

DirkPV, 2 hours agoThis fast charging destroys the battery, just a testament to the fact that these phones… morefast charging does not destroy a battery. high temperatures and lots of cycles do. and those batteries have great temperature control chips in them so it’s not a big deal.

O

Now we need to see the battery that has a 10 year warranty on this charger! No fun in batteries that charge extremely quickly and last up to 6 months.

So many things they could improve, instead of wasting resources on numerous gimmicks like high wattage charging:

improve software;
-improve camera quality (smile at Xiaomi with 108 mp cameras that quality is equal to 5 mp);
-improve battery life;
-maybe more compact phoens?

There are so many areas that could be improved and I’m not just talking about the return of 3.5mm or micro SD, but other things.

Lmao my gaming laptop with 3070 needs this type of wattage (and when charging the actual charging speed is 50W), what are these guys doing?

YOU

Agreed with lulfie and 808Droid and realme enthusiast here, all these ultra fast charging speeds are getting out of hand, they really should focus on their software department rather than these faster gimmicks.

D

This fast charging destroys the battery, just a testament to the fact that these phones are expected to last about a year. When can we finally expect charging by air? That would be news.

YOU

Call me if I can only charge my phone in 1 minute, like maybe 100,000W LMAO.

Y

We’ve gone too far with fast charging. 65W is enough. And before anyone says it has been tested and does not affect batteries. The TUV battery test is performed at 10W, when manufacturers quote a certain number of battery cycles with no degradation, they quote tests at 10W, not the maximum wattage

MiU… moreI’ve been using Miui since 2017 from a cheap Xiaomi phone, nothing bad that made me switch to another brand. I don’t know what you’re talking about. I can now rate my MIUI 13 with 9/10 and can’t wait for the major Android 13 MIUI 14 update.

c

It’s amazing to see what technology is capable of. However, these Chinese OEMs should stop focusing on these innovative loading speeds and focus on the software side. Yeah okay, you don’t even get a 25W charger with an £800 Samsung phone, but at least their software updates can compete (sometimes better) than Google’s

On paper, the specs and design all seem too good. Basically Realme UI, Color os, funtouch os, MIUI etc. I don’t know they can be improved or learn from PixelUI, Nothing OS etc.

“Performance” is a hype word until optimization kicks in.

Proved by Carl Pie (previously in Oneplus, now in nothing phone)

MiUi, RelmeUi, Color Os, Oxygen os, Funtouch.are all worthless. I think they only sell more because of the gimmicks i.e. fast charging 😒
