iPhone SE 2022 Cellular Signal Problems?

I bought a new iPhone SE 2022 in July. Around the same time, I switched to T-Mobile so I could get service abroad. I was disappointed with the signal strength abroad, but glad I was able to stay connected. Ever since I got back, I’ve been having constant phone problems. My friends tell me they can’t hear me, or the signal goes in and out. Empty one second, gone the next. I feel like I’m reenacting that old commercial and saying, “Can you hear me now?” every 5 seconds. I assumed it was a T-Mobile issue but all my friends who have T-Mobile (and live in the same area) claim they have no issues. I’m starting to wonder if it’s a problem with the iPhone. Has anyone experienced similar issues with cell service? If I take it to the Apple Store do you think they can check the reception on the phone? I assume there is no test they can run, but one can hope… FWIW, I have my phone set up to use 5G all the time.
