Lost Light, NetEase’s survival shooter is finally out on Android and iOS

After more than a year of testing, NetEase Games has launched its survival shooter Lost Light on PC and mobile. It was quite popular during its betas, as it was downloaded over four million times and ranked in the Top 30 of new games several times.

Lost Light is set in a post-apocalyptic world set in the 2040s, where the world was destroyed by a pheromone outbreak. The survivors had to build shelters underground, which eventually led to the development of the Firefly Project. Players will become part of this Firefly Force in the danger zone where they must find a way to survive.

The game aims to forge a new path instead of following the classic Battle Royale template with a “survival in the game and progression out of the game” mechanism. This will change the gameplay, making it more realistic. The core of the game is to escape from the exclusion zone, which must be done through survival and war. The higher the risk, the higher the reward.

To achieve this goal, players will have to employ many tactics. Different situations call for different games. Sometimes players need to outflank the enemy, while other times a frontal attack is required. Enemies may have to be executed or even rescued in certain circumstances. In addition, the weapons are also highly customizable thanks to the firearms modification system.

Lost Light is all about exploring the infinite possibilities to complete the mission. Players will scour the zone for resources, food, and other necessities that can later be sold for a profit. Moreover, with the availability of full cross-play, you can play with your friends anytime, anywhere and on any platform. Four players can jump in together to deal major damage in the exclusion zone.
