Motorola Edge 30 Ultra’s design and key specs revealed in leaked official video

Motorola disappoints me, they make some nice phones, but there are few updates between completely robbing their customers, you would think a big company like Lenovo would fix this, people are complaining all the time about their updates that you would think they would address the customers they would sell more phones.

Gray Wolf, 6 hours agoYes, in terms of software, Samsung is the best. I had Samsung phones forever (starting with S3… moreMotorola’s last midrange model in the US will receive 3 major OS updates and 4 years of security updates, even the midrange models from 2021 will receive at least 2 major OS updates and 3 years of security updates, Motorola has improved a lot in software updates, it still may not be as good as Samsung in updates, but Motorola phones are more durable and have better battery life than Samsung phones. What’s the point of having a perfect software update policy if the hardware isn’t durable?

Gray Wolf, 6 hours agoI expect no less than the average price. I said I don’t want them to be that expensive… moreWell that’s right. Moto doesn’t seem to offer many updates on their phones. As for the price, I believe they keep their prices lower than other companies (Samsung, Apple). But in general, all flagship phones are getting more expensive by the day. I’m not expecting $1300 for a phone like this (that’s S22 Ultra cash), but anything in the $800-$900 range seems fine for this, but maybe Moto can surprise us with a better offer

I had Samsung phones forever (starting with S3). Of course I also had iPhones and Chinese models, in parallel. But these days, Samsung is the best in software (at least from Android part).
But the price is also important to me. I mean, if a manufacturer releases a nice flagship that might cost EUR 200-250 less than a Samsung or an iPhone, then I might be interested in buying it.

Anonymous, 7 hours agowhy expect a less than average price for flagship stuff. It seems a suspicion… moreI expect no less than the average price. I said I don’t want them to be as expensive as Samsung or Apple models (which cost about $1150 where I live).
I mean, Motorola isn’t exactly the king of software updates, lol. I mean, if I had to choose between a Samsung or a Motorola for the same price, I would definitely go for the Samsung. That’s why I said Motorola should be a little cheaper. Maybe 800-900 EUR.

The Android freak, 7 hours agoDon’t have a OnePlus 10T available at your home? iQOO 9T/10?Well, that’s a model. Even though it’s not really a flagship technically (that’s the OnePlus 10 Pro). But of course it has an SD8+ gen 1.
Another could be the Asus Zenfone 9, but it’s a pretty small phone for my taste. If Asus releases a Pro or Ultra model, that’s better for me.
Another option could be to wait for the S23 Ultra (if the rumors are true and they only use SD chipsets this time around). But I wanted to buy a new phone in December. The S23 Ultra may be available since February.
I will see. Anyway, it’s good that other manufacturers also bring beautiful models to the market.

It seems to be a presumption in the smartphone world that, except for Samsung and Apple, no one else can have flagship prices, even if the products themselves are similar in specification.

If they price it correctly in Europe (that means less than Sony, Apple or Samsung flagships), I could consider this my next phone (I’m looking for a nice SD8+ gen 1 phone). Even though I’m not a big fan of stock Android.
Hopefully Motorola has also improved their less than average software update policy. But since this is their top model, I suspect it will get the most attention from them.

I assume it would have 5200mah
