Nintendo launches Android/iOS desktop widget for Splatoon 3

When it comes to doing business online, Nintendo isn’t one of the best we’ve got. However, it is good to know that the company is making some interesting changes to its online application. The new upgrade to the Nintendo Switch Online app for Android and iOS means users can now add Splatoon 3 widgets to the home screen of their smartphones or tablets. This feature comes with the 2.3.0 update and is only available to paying subscribers.

Splatoon 3

The updated Nintendo Switch Online app adds multiple widgets that can be used to view Splatoon 3 players’ battle logs, upcoming stage schedules, Splatnet photo album, and current gear. All widgets come in different sizes. Splatoon 3 has become the best-selling game launched by Nintendo Switch in Japan. To date, 3.45 million copies of this game have been sold in the first three days of release. To celebrate the release of splatoon 3, Nintendo also unveiled a splatoon 3 theme Switch OLED model.

Splatoon 3

Splatoon 3” – a third-person shooting game

Splatoon 3” is a third-person shooting game developed by Nintendo. It is the third game in the “splatoon” series, and it is also the first game in the series to support the Chinese language. The download version costs HK$429 ($55). The game introduction shows that players have to start a 4-on-4 team battle in battle. Players will also use different weapons to paint the ground of the other battlefield with our team’s color. The team with more color area wins. But at the same time, the game adds a lot of new actions.

Version 2.3.0 of the app for both platforms adds the ability to use three new widgets: a photo album to see the photos you’ve taken from the game, your battle log to show your recent wins and losses, and finally – my favorite – a phase schedule that keeps you informed of the upcoming phase rotation for different game modes. It also shows what equipment you have and what options that equipment has.
