ANDROID users have been informed about a feature on their devices that can make their home screens more efficient.
If you have an Android device, you know the many features it comes with.
These tools aim to improve user experience and streamline overall smartphone processes.
One such feature includes Widgets, or applications that allow a user to perform a function or access a service.
Androids are packed with useful widgets, such as the weather or a calculator, with more available for download.
And the interface design of the smartphone allows users to add them directly to their home screens.
Not only does this improve the functionality of your device, but it can also help you customize your home screen.
From 2022, Galaxy S22 models and later will also have the ability to use Smart Widgets.
This feature allows users to create stacks of widgets that they can swipe through, putting all their favorite apps in one place on their phone.
To set up Widgets, first tap and hold an empty space on your home screen.
Then select the Widgets option when it appears. From there, touch and hold a widget and drag it to the desired location.
You can also resize the widget. To complete the process, just touch anywhere on the screen outside the widget.
How to set up Smart Widgets
To set up Smart Widgets, first long press on an empty part of your home screen.
Then tap Widgets at the bottom > Smart Widget and choose the size you want.
