Sony has just announced the start of the rollout of the Android 13 update for the flagships Xperia 1 IV and Xperia 5 IV.
Details are scarce about where the rollout would begin, how big the firmware is, and whether any special features will be added. But if you own either phone, we recommend checking for an update now (and maybe message me with the details).
Android 13 builds on the Material You design language with options to customize themes, colors and icons, updates to digital wellbeing and security, the ability to set different languages for different apps, improved permissions and much more.
