Anonymous, 7 hours agoI think you are a super casual gamer who doesn’t notice input lag.Huh… What are you smoking? Cloud Gamming is all about casual gaming like playing elden ring, days gone by etc. Single player games at up to 4k 60fps or 120 without having to buy a $1600 Rtx 4090 and a nuclear reactor to power that system turning your room into a centralized heating source for your home. ….

Of course, it’s not for esports gamers where latencies matter and cloud just isn’t made for them.

Your understanding of cloud gaming is very limited..
Just like you can create your own Nas server, you can also create your own cloud server, that’s what Steam Link and Nvidia game stream is….

Technically it was still usable as a wired controller, but this makes a huge difference. Should have been a launch feature, but better late than never, and on hardware they refunded to boot.

Okay, 11 hours agoBecause it makes them some money. Especially nowadays.Lol No. Less than 1% global market share and 5% US share as of Q3 2022. But I can wait for a firesale as it is the only model that supports Graphene OS.

Vikass17, 11 hours agoI never liked the idea of cloud gaming. You should. It’s great to be able to play Xbox Game Pass games without installing them at all and get instant access to them. Also force now/xbox which allows budget/old laptops/pc/phone to run games at max settings 1080p 60fps without natively destroying your cpu power and battery. (you can also connect xbox controllers to your phone/tablet so literally console gaming on any device).

I’d take cloud games over digital or physical discs any day of the week, it’s just better and more convenient (the stadiums just sucked and weren’t well managed).

Can we stop saying things like a controller being “useless” if it doesn’t have Bluetooth? It’s great that they’re going to unlock the Bluetooth capabilities, but the controller works fine with USB C, so it’s not “useless” by any means.

so all this time it doesn’t support bluetooth?????

c

typically Google, launches a new service or product and discontinues it within a few months. good ones last more than a year, but honestly that kills my hype for any Google product.

they’re all good ideas, but I guess that’s what having money to burn means.
