Don’t worry if you haven’t caught up on the best new Android games this week. We’ve searched high and low for the most recent additions to the Android gaming world. This week was an exciting week for brand new games. Below are our hand-picked picks from this week – we hope you like them as much as we do!
Each week we cover the new games and highlight the games you may have missed. This week’s top new mobile games include Ninja Must Die, Immortality, Kentucky Route Zero, Twelve Minutes, and Vampire Survivors.
Ninja must die
Ninja Must Die is a combat runner that brings a clean, tone-ink brush style of art direction to the table.
It takes place in a Japanese-inspired world called Sunbreak, which is in a bit of trouble. The samurai and ninjas quarrel, and the monstrous Oni return for war after being sealed for centuries.
You get the chance to choose between four different ninjas. There’s Brand Kuro, Ice Queen Rin, Shocking Riki, and Stormy Souga. The gameplay takes you on an epic journey through scenic landscapes, encountering demons, dragons and giant birds along the way.
You can play Ninja Must Die on Google Play starting today.
Immortality
Unlike other games you have played before, the mystery game Immortality comes from the mind of Sam Barlow, developer of Her Story.
Actress Marissa Marcel should have been a star. She starred in three films, but none ever saw a public audience. Then she mysteriously disappeared. The unseen films could hold the secret of her destiny.
To find out what happened to Marissa, you must take a journey through the clips of the lost films, navigating from scene to scene and matching images to progress and delve deeper into the strange happenings surrounding the filming .
If you have Netflix, you can download Immortality for free from Google Play.
Kentucky Route Zero
Kentucky Route Zero is an adventure game that takes you on a journey, in both senses of the world.
You take on the role of Conway, a truck driver who works for an antiques trading company. You will receive an order to be delivered to a specific address. However, the way there is not easy, you have to take a route that is not easy to find and probably should not exist.
It’s an arduous journey to find the entrance to the mysterious underground Route Zero, and once you get there, it only gets weirder from there.
Netflix subscribers can get it for free on Google Play.
Twelve minutes
Twelve Minutes is a top-down thriller game about being stuck in a pretty awful situation.
A police detective breaks into your apartment, handcuffs your wife, charges you with murder, then beats you to death. What’s worse than that? Do it again, and again, and again.
The game has you trapped in an eternal time loop. Events play out the same way every time, but you can change the way you handle them and learn from your mistakes. You have all the time in the world whether you like it or not.
If you’re a Netflix subscriber, you can download Twelve Minutes for free on Google Play.
Vampire survivors
Vampire Survivors is a truly compulsive game. It’s a game that’s ridiculously easy to learn, while the gameplay looks like nightmarish chaos as thousands of enemies descend on you from every possible angle.
The story is simple. Hell is open, ghouls, ghouls and long-legged beasts rampage. You will have to fight them. Fortunately, that’s easy too. Weapons deploy automatically, you just need to maneuver around the enemies.
The problem, of course, is that there are many enemies. Surprisingly, no vampires, though.
A free version of Vampire Survivors, with fairly unobtrusive ads, can be downloaded from Google Play.
So that’s our hand-picked top 5 best new Android games this week. Do you think we are on the right track? For our favorite, we’re connected between Kentucky Route Zero and Vampire Survivors. The best probably depends on how much you want to think about what you’re playing.
